Beijing Olympics 2008 Aftermath

Read from newspapers that those pretty Olympics hostesses carrying trays of medals and bouquets on the victory ceremony on the Olympics Beijing 2008 are in high demand in the manpower market in China. Many Foreign MNCs are eager to employ them.

Some are employed as air-stewardess or got into financial services line, mostly in the services line. They are also earning 5 times more than normal university graduates.

I guess this is inevitable as they are all so pretty, slim and speak English. After all, they have to go through stringent selection process and only 297 people being selected from 3000. It is also the reward to them for putting in effort and volunteering their help, having to go through 1 year of training.
